I spent 3 weeks in PS2 gallery, Belfast where I turned the space into a green- screen studio. Over the 3 weeks I created a number of live streamed performances on YouTube and Google Hangout. For late night art I performed live with a screen showing the live green-screen footage with the fake background of a 'girlie' bedroom. For 30 minutes my alterego 'SweetHeart' had to do a number of exercises whilst also sticking on, paint, dry and file false nails. So she would plank while gluing them on; ab-roll whilst intermittently painting; dry whilst using a thigh master. She also live tweeted during the performance. The images used for the backgrounds were taken from Pinterest, a social media digital-scrapbook mostly used by women to put images of things such as their dreamhouse, exercises were taken from groups of images such as 30 day plank challenges or 'fitspiration' pages.
